Tom Woodbury has worked on fixing businesses for 20 years - and he loves it!
Starting in construction as an engineer and moving on to telecommunications, insurance and financial services Tom now works for himself - sharing his ideas that work.
During his time on site as a construction engineer, Tom noticed that the things that made a difference to success or failure often had nothing to do with technical know how. Hitting targets and making money seemed to be far more about people management, planning, motivation and experience. People and Process, as well as Technology.
This lead eventually to a Masters of Commerce in Management and Organisational Studies to compliment his Civil Engineering degree and then on to a life long quest for answers about "how to best manage a business".
Tom's journey has lead him to work for corporates such as Vodafone, NRMA, Suncorp, Macquarie Bank and Commonwealth Bank as well as numerous small business owners.
Tom is obsessed with solutions, but only ones that work, can be implemented easily and don't cost too much. Adding value to your business quickly is what Tom is interested in.
